The Chinese High Command of the Air Force published a tender on a short-range three-seat tactical reconnaissance and army cooperation aircraft as replacement of the Nanchan N1-R1.
The aircraft should have a defensive armament of at least one MG and have a bomb load of round about 250kg. In addition, the aircraft should be on the grounds of redundancy, equipped with two engines. Both engines are also required to obtain the necessary speed and agility. Furthermore, a good all-round vision is required.


Shaanxi Aircraft Ltd. presents its draft for this tender, the SH-25A.
