I've revisited my CVL design.
I've increased the hull to full Centaur Class standards, but the lack of heavier guns nagged me slightly given the risk of surface raiders.
I had the brainwave of fitting two twin 4.5in Mk VI aft to boost the AA power and surface-hitting power without overloading the ship. But is 2x2 4.5in really worth it or not? I'm not sure and I'd value opinions on the subject.
Here is the revised sim. The alternative (unsimmed yet) is the same hull minus the 4.5 with 16 6pdr guns.
