History:
The airline was incorporated on 10 March 1934 and was owned by Shanghai casino entrepreneur Stanley Ho. He named his airline after his hometown Hong Kong. After some starting problems and an agreement with the governeur of Hong Kong (respectively the government of Great Britain) it became a growing airline and soon expand their network to other countries.
