IMPORTANT: General Informations about Trans Asia Airways

History:
Trans Asia Airways was the only airline in Formosa before it became part of the Chinese Empire. The TAA was founded in September 1933. The first routes were Kaohsiung – Taipei and Kaohsiung – Hong Kong. After the first commercial successes, the route network has been extended to Shanghai, Naha (Japan) and Hukuoka (Japan).
In 1935, the first flight to Manila and other flights within Formosa were added to the route network. At last Singapore and Pacifica was incorporated into the network of the airline.
