Ejercito Mexicano



The Mexican Army consists of 15 divisions and 240,000 men. Each division contains approximately 15,000 men.

10 Infantry divisions (3 brigades each), each with limited mechanization and a mounted battalion. One brigade in active duty, two in reserve.

5 Specialized divisions (3 brigades each). Two brigades in active duty, one in reserve:

1 Armored division
2 Mechanized Infantry division
1 Airborne division
1 Amphibious division (under joint, Navy-Army control)
