My statement about the dollar and the 50 cent doesn't has anything to do with the fancy hat.

I meant that of every dollar you earn now, your wife wants the half for shoes and jewelry (that's my experience after my wedding ). Hope it's clear now.

Ahhh, I see... though I don't think it's entirely true in our case, as she's probably the more frugal of the two of us.
