M3 Scout Car
Designed by the White Motor Company in 1938, the M3 Scout Car was offered to meet the Army's requirement for a high-speed scouting vehicle. Standardized in June 1939, production began in 1938 with the original M3, and the M3A1 with heavier side armour began production in 1939.
