THE SOUTH AFRICAN TELEGRAPH - EXPRESS
26th June 1921

Pretoria. Is the current crisis more dangerous than expected? Due to reports from Durban and Cape Town several cruisers and the battleships RSAN South Africa and RSAN Cameroon departed from their naval bases with unknown destinations yesterday. Further more the battlecruisers RSAN Hertog Alexander and RSAN Hertog Rijnhard are ordered to head for their homeport. Currently they are touring ports along the Indian coast after participating in the life shooting following the joint naval exercises. So far no official statement explains these deployments but they seem to run contrary to what the King decided on the 22th of June.
