A weapon designed for service on the large destroyers of the Lebrecht Maas class, the 15cm/48 SK C/33 is the successor to the Great War period 15 cm Ubts + Tbts KL/45 gun. It has a limited usefulness against aircraft, but the low ROF at high elevation is a major limitation.
