In the first test of the government since the general election, the people of the Odense South have sent a clear message to Prime Minister Carl Theodor Zahle and The Social Democratic Party. That message is simply this; "Your time is running out!"

The people of Odense South have returned the candidate of The Conservative Party, Walter Schmidt, with a massive 73% of the cast ballots, from a record turnout on polling day for the constituency of 69%.

The Conservative Party leader, Niels Thomasius Neergaard, was very happy with the result. " This result will serve to add more pressure on the government, to point out to them that the people are not happy with the way they are running the country"

A spokesman for the Social Democrats commented, "We may have lost a seat in the Folketing today, but we still control over half the house."
