Dornier Do 24

Is anyone building the Dornier Do 24 yet?

Yep, they're in production for at least four countries (the Netherlands, Mexico, Turkey, and Germany), in somewhat different configurations for each (the Dutch want extreme range, the Mexicans want American gasoline engines, the German aircraft are unarmed and the Turkish planes are armed versions of the German aircraft).

The VNVV will take twelve Do 24s equipped like the Turkish versions - so long as they can carry a few depth charges, please. :D

The Turkish version is stressed to carry a pair of torpedoes under the wings, so depth charges in those positions won't be a problem.
