Torpedo-experiments terminated following fire
The Committee of Naval Armament has decided to stop the ongoing torpedo-experiments following the February 20th fire at the naval torpedoschool at Karlskrona. The deathtoll has reached 11, with the remaining injured persons all looking likely to survive. Investigation ahs determined that the blaze occurred despite all procedures being followed and extraordinary safety-precautions being taken, at the programme has been deemed as unsafe and detrimental to the navy.
