Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
6,410 lbs / 2,907 Kg = 59.8 x 6.0 " / 152 mm shells or 1.1 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.19
Metacentric height 2.6 ft / 0.8 m
Roll period: 13.6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 70 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.48
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.20

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
and transom stern
Block coefficient: 0.490
Length to Beam Ratio: 10.58 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 26.68 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 57 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 58
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 30.00 degrees
Stern overhang: 5.00 ft / 1.52 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
- Stem: 25.00 ft / 7.62 m
- Forecastle (18 %): 22.00 ft / 6.71 m
- Mid (60 %): 22.00 ft / 6.71 m (14.00 ft / 4.27 m aft of break)
- Quarterdeck (18 %): 14.00 ft / 4.27 m
- Stern: 14.00 ft / 4.27 m
- Average freeboard: 19.01 ft / 5.79 m
Ship tends to be wet forward

Ship space, strength and comments:
Space - Hull below water (magazines/engines, low = better): 109.7 %
- Above water (accommodation/working, high = better): 145.4 %
Waterplane Area: 19,633 Square feet or 1,824 Square metres
Displacement factor (Displacement / loading): 108 %
Structure weight / hull surface area: 73 lbs/sq ft or 354 Kg/sq metre
Hull strength (Relative):
- Cross-sectional: 0.76
- Longitudinal: 1.26
- Overall: 0.80
Caution: Hull subject to strain in open-sea
Hull space for machinery, storage, compartmentation is adequate
Room for accommodation and workspaces is excellent

Ship has slow, easy roll, a good, steady gun platform
Good seaboat, rides out heavy weather easily

...and now that I've drawn her, I think she lends herself to another subtype!

Only problem is that a 6,000 ton ship, under the revised strength rules, needs to have a composite strength of 0.90 or higher to not have a weak hull......

She pre-dates the revised rules, and is therefore OK!!
