1940 Purchases:

150 Buckner Bu181 Bestmanns (1) from Germany. Deliveries to begin August 1940 at a rate of 8 per month rising to 12 per month after 6 months.

150 ENAER Coatis (2) from Chile. Deliveries to begin January 1940 at a rate of 18-20 a month.

60 Blackburn B.28 from Great Britian. Deliviery to begin January 1941.

60 Tucan T-18B NB-2 from Argentina. Delivery to begin April 1940.

120 EMBRAER EMB-39s from Brazil. Delivery begining January 1940 at a rate of 10 per month.

(1) Purchased from Germany, preassembled and transported to Brazil and assembled by Nevia.

(2) Purchased from Chile, assembled in Brazil by EMBRAER.
