The Aguinaldo Aeronautical Company of Butuan announces the successful maiden flight of its inagural design. the AAC-1 Lawin. Test pilots report no significant problems although a number of minor issues mean the second flight is unlikely to occur before the end of the year.
Why did it not blow up? It's supposed to be Filipino!!!
Probably one of the minor issues they are working on...
There was no explosion in the nose compartment, and the experimental battery there didn't erupt acid all over thus being one of those minor issues. Nope, nope, nope...
