What bonus points?

Quoted

4 of 7 factories are dedicated to infrastructure material production, and produce 0.4 pts plus 0.4 bonus points.

You have to have them dedicated to IP production for one full year before you get the 0.4 bonus points. They don't aquire the bonus points each quarter.

That started this quarter, you can't do that in Q4. Let me go back and check, I modified the Q4/29 report based on this one and it's very possible that I made an error.

If you dedicate - say 4 - factories to IP production starting in Q1, in Q4 you get - in this case, 0.4 - bonus points from those factories.

*blinks* Really? I thought it was when you dedicated the factories that you recieved the points.

Nope, only at the end of the year that they were dedicated in: ie, in the case of 1930, any dedicated factories will get their bonus points in Q4.

This just means that instead of just getting 0.4 IP out of a factory over the course of a year you'll get 0.5 IP with the extra 0.1 IP coming to you in the Fourth Quarter. That "bonus" point can be used in addition to any existing infrustructure project over any "per quarter" restrictions.

You did have 7 factory's producing IP's, they were not stated as "Fixed". I suppose you could edit the Q4/29 report to include four fixed and recieve 0.4 bonus IP's. Thats if no one objects. IIRC another new player did this for their Q4/29 report for 0.1 bonus IP's and no one objected.

If nobody else has a problem with it, that's what I'll do.

I have to point out they technically only (in real terms) produced materials for 1 quarter as "dedicated" factorys. (thats me with my moderator hat on making sure we all have a heads up on that point)
