Well sounds like a good place for GW, "The Ice Pit" win a fighter tombola or perhaps a destroyer roulette :D

GW is eagerly awaiting the Mexican evaluation of the dispatched demonstrators

I forgot!

Mexico will be buying the Type 105Mx, with one small change. Mexico prefers to use the 25.4mm cannon instead of the 20mm cannon, and wishes to know if the plane can be fitted with bomb racks for use as a fighter bomber.

Say an initial order for 10. More as soon as I know exacly how many I need.

If you so wish they can be delivered without armament or you could deliver the preferred cannon to be fitted by GW.

The 105 is designed for carrying a wet rack under the fuselage stressed for 550 lbs and one rack under each wing stressed for 100lbs

Production of 10 aircraft will start immediatly

Private companies developing 4 engine heavy bombers... Interesting.

The Float-Storch would probably be quite useful for coastal work, but too small for prolonged operations over water.

OOC: The Float Storch could also be useful aboard smaller ships than those usually equipped with aircraft or for SAR duties aboard larger ships

As for the bomber, give the market what it wants(?)

Just a note on that bomber reported near Coldmere, I doubt there is space in Coldmere for that plane to land, Heck I was planning to announce the construction of a new runway there on the pier of the harbour to allow bigger planes to land.

Ah, well it says in the Coldemere area, Nordmark as friendly neighbor would surely lend an airstrip :D

Now of course any testing can be conducted in China!

Thursday, February 7th 2008, 9:20pm

Yes, though I did have some plans for Coldmere which will allow that thing to land there.

Any chance for the specs, I suspect Nordmark might be quite interested in that bomber.

It was put up as a teaser to see if there were any interest, Specs will come shortly

34

Thursday, February 7th 2008, 11:16pm

A Nordmark order coming? Perhaps a squadrons worth for testing?

35

Thursday, February 7th 2008, 11:49pm

Romania would be interested in purchasing 12 of the heavy bombers, and 18 of the Type 107 interceptors

36

Friday, February 8th 2008, 12:31am

Armament preferences? If not then it will be armed with 2x Oerlikon FF, 4x FN-Browning .50 MG and 2x FN-Browning .303 MG

The Type 107 is yet to conclude tests delivery time is at least 6 months

37

Friday, February 8th 2008, 11:37am

Didn't Nordmark recently order B-17s as heavy bombers? I'm not sure why they'd need another type.

38

Friday, February 8th 2008, 11:40am

Well, there is some news in the pipeline in reference to the first Batch of B-17's, and Nordmark might look at buying 1/2 of these aircraft for trials.

39

Friday, February 8th 2008, 11:21pm

What do you mean with half of the aircraft?
