Your Dream Car?

If you could have any car you wanted, what would it be?

Lamboroghini Countach.

Wow, where to start.

Any Mopar from 1969-72
2007 Camaro
1971 GTO

1970 Roadrunner would likely be #1 on my list.

The Countach has always been my favorite Lambo, even if its unfortunate name has way too much innuendo potential. My personaly favorite would be this baby:

Hennessey Venom 1000 Twin Turbo

However, I'd have it painted in House of Kolor Cinnamon Pearl with a single broad stripe down the center (like this) in HOK Ketchme Kopper Pearl. I'd also switch the standard six-speed stick shifter for a paddle shifter.

Not quite as practical as my current bike however.

Those are all very appealing cars for city dwellers, but I wouldn't want to try and transport sheep in them. I'll go with a hybrid-fuel SUV with a ball hitch aft and a fitting for a snow plow forward.

I'm with Rocky, although I don't personally have a need for carrying sheep, and a bit more comfort would be nice.

I'll go with a diesel Range Rover, preferably with a driver. Otherwise it's a lawn ornament for now...

Pie-in-the-Sky: Saleen S7 Twin Turbo.

"Realistic" Pie-in-the-Sky: 1987 El Camino SS, bored-out small-block, supercharger, intercooler, bed camper'd, carpeted, leather seats, 6-speed manumatic, "bag o'tricks"...

Realistic:

StormTracker

Hmmm. I'm not quite sure how useful a steam car would be in a City.

A pic of one is here

And a similar one running is at the bottom of the page here

Not the 'special' version of the DeLorean? :-)

Well, as far as Edsels go, price can vary widely, anywhere from a couple thousand for a drivable one needing some restoration to the tens of thousands for show-car quality.

Where is that Delorean? That's the more expensive model...though not the "Dr. Brown" model.

Uh, a De Lorean - are you sure? Probably one of the worst car ever. Do you know they sunk two presses necessary for the cars body off the Irish coast after closure of the DMC factory?

The golden car is the first of three 24-carat-DeLoreans made for American Express which were produced for xmas 1981. The car with the number VIN4300 is in a museum in Reno today.
