Evil overlord list No. 150

I will provide funding and research to develop tactical and strategic weapons covering a full range of needs so my choices are not limited to "hand to hand combat with swords" and "blow up the planet".

Cheers,

if you go to zha'ha'dum, you will die.

At the time, that kicked off a whole series of parody emails amongst my friends, starting with

If you go to za'ha'dum, wear a sweater.

You can imagine how the rest went....
"If you go to Za'ha'dum, carry an umbrella"
"If you go to Za'ha'dum, bring your Visa; they don't take American Express"
"If you go to Za'ha'dum, watch out for the tourist traps"
etc., etc...

Just use the Death Star for that. Remember: There is no such thing as Overkill...

The Star Destroyers have that "warship" look because they are actually built out of warships. The models used for filming made extensive use of model kits. Its fairly easy to spot pieces of KGV class and Essex class on the models.

I agree, but they were mobile, so they still count as ships.

So Swamphen... you have just one of those things while the Star Forge can create thousands and thousands of them.

I've always thought this;

Was kind of neat.

Of course, for full effect, you need the full White Star Line. :P

But if you want an impressive Capital Ship;

btw, Walter any response to the last PM would be appreciated. :B

Yeah, I had one for you yesterday morning. Unfortunately I went and checked something on the board in the wrong window (the one with the PM).

You need me to resend it, then?

56

Not at all. I had the reply written and then instead of clicking "Open in new window" to look at something I was a bit hasty and accidentally hit "Open" instead and lost the stuff I typed.

One?

I think not.

And this is only one fleet in the early days.

Image all our nations together, all ships destroyed except the the one ship at top (Yamato), and then building a fleet about five or more times the size of the one on the bottom in nine months time. I like those production numbers. Now imagine if Earth had an intersteller empire using that techology and production times....Wave Motion Guns to vaporize practically anything....including a Death Star.

Yeah ain't it cool?

*guess the movie that quotes from and you win kudo's*

I would think that if a planet pooled all its resources togeather it should be able to build quite a sizable fleet in a short time span. Modular construction should speed thinks up incredibly.
