Nordmarks new ships for 1932

Firstly we have the Training Carrier Gärdsmyg, like designs from other nations, this ship has a heavy teak deck in order to provide some protection to the internals from pancaked landings.

Note that this ship has quite a range cruising at full speed, which will allow the ship to spend a long time on training cruises in the Baltic and North Sea.

On the carrier, I'd reduce the trim some - with no guns, there's no need to be a steady gun platform ;-) and the added stability would be good.

Thursday, July 20th 2006, 3:21pm

She's no guns at present but may recieve some when the treaty collapses

Despite that, trim reduced to 40, stability increased and thus

Sorry for not replying earlier, so much going on in the sim right now!

Overall I like the designs particularily the frigate design.

5

Friday, July 21st 2006, 9:10am

Thanks for that, the Frigate is designed to be powerful, but relatively cheap.

6

Friday, July 21st 2006, 9:34am

Good quality's to look for.

I'm in desperate need of Frigates so don't be surprized to see swarms of them in the next few quarters.

Nordmark also intends to build swarms of ships to this and other designs, though latter ships might be larger and faster.
