For some reason, the 3/46 and 4/46 reports refer to the new ocean-going sloop as Varevasht despite this having been the name of a sloop laid down the previous year. This new sloop is now Sabalan.

LCM numbers corrected - previous reports overstated numbers by 2.

MTB numbers corrected - previous numbers understated by eight.

Er, just for clarification... how is this vessel getting to the Caspian Sea? As of the most recent deployments list, it was in Bushehr...

I mean, sure, you can get it from Bushehr to Bandar-e Anzali through the Volga-Don Canal (and Russia would approve that since it's just going to get scrapped), but it seems like a really long detour just to turn it into razors, especially when there is a drydock sitting empty in Bushehr.

The MTB got moved to Bushehr, too. Apparently I just got confused by all the places starting with "B".

Okay, no problem! I figured it was something like that.

I should add in that I like the way you've shaped the Persian fleet up over the last few years. It definitely feels like a force that's gaining capabilities, rather than just getting bigger.

Thanks. I'm reasonably happy with the place too, so don't figure the size will increase much more. Time to remove some of the older stuff from service and round out the auxiliaries a bit.

The ex-American CA's replacement will be the last major project of the decade, probs.

So that's Persia for 1947. Sloops were the story.

I'll update the encyclopedia soon-ish, which might require me to tweak ship counts for all I know. The ocean-going sloop count seems off in some fashion but I can't put a finger on how.
