Turkish destroyer design for late 1943

Having gained the Atlantean 5.1" and new 2.95" guns, Turkey decided to modify the Bozcaada class destroyer design for its first purely home grown design. The design ultimately grew by 120 tons as a result of increased range and heavier AA armament.

8 - 1.46" / 37.0 mm guns (4x2 guns), 1.55lbs / 0.70kg shells, 1943 Model
Anti-aircraft guns in deck mounts
on side, evenly spread, all raised mounts
8 - 0.79" / 20.0 mm guns (4x2 guns), 0.24lbs / 0.11kg shells, 1943 Model

Armour:
- Gun armour: Face (max) Other gunhouse (avg) Barbette/hoist (max)
Main: 1.57" / 40 mm 0.98" / 25 mm 1.57" / 40 mm
2nd: 0.98" / 25 mm 0.39" / 10 mm 0.39" / 10 mm
3rd: 0.98" / 25 mm - -

- Conning tower: 1.57" / 40 mm

Machinery:
Oil fired boilers, steam turbines,
Geared drive, 2 shafts, 46,945 shp / 35,021 Kw = 34.50 kts

- Conning Tower: 6 tons, 0.3 %
Machinery: 1,118 tons, 46.0 %
Hull, fittings & equipment: 757 tons, 31.1 %
Fuel, ammunition & stores: 434 tons, 17.9 %
Miscellaneous weights: 50 tons, 2.1 %

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
822 lbs / 373 Kg = 12.4 x 5.1 " / 130 mm shells or 0.4 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.21
Metacentric height 1.8 ft / 0.5 m
Roll period: 12.6 seconds
Steadiness - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 70 %
- Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.39
Seaboat quality (Average = 1.00): 1.01

Hull form characteristics:
Hull has rise forward of midbreak
and transom stern
Block coefficient: 0.427
Length to Beam Ratio: 9.73 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 22.80 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 67 %
Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 70
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 25.00 degrees
Stern overhang: 0.00 ft / 0.00 m
Freeboard (% = measuring location as a percentage of overall length):
