8000 ton Ontario study. 3x2 7.5", 5x1 4.5". 4.75" Belt, 32 knots.
Based on the Manitoba/Labrador class hulls and power plant for economy, deemed unsuitable and 12000 ton designs pursued


12000 ton Ontario study. 4x2 7.5", 4x2 4.5". 6.5" Belt, 34 knots.
Investigated the use of four twin turrets to retain commonality with the Prince Edward Island. Deemed inferior and project finalized with three Triple turrets.



Hawkins class modernization/conversion schemes.



Alternative configurations considered for the Shearwater class Cruiser Submarines.
