Was thinking more along the lines of the 108th Wardogs squadron with the likes of Jack Bartlett, Alvin Davenport, Ben Grimm, Marcus Snow, etc... (:

Reactor won't be installed until the 1945 modernization...

I think I got Ro Laran someplace around here...

Sorry guys, I think I've stolen all the callsigns too, except for "Starbuck", "Apollo" and "Boomer".
...Not like any of us wanted "Jolly" anyway. :B
Yeah theres that one too, then again who wants to be called "Crashdown" except maybe a former "barnstormer".

So, will Ship Two be named
Galactica?
Actually this ship should have been named
Mercury, as
Pegasus was a mercury class battlestar.
Ship #2 should be named
Pegasus.
Jolly's dead in the new series anyhow, killed when Galactica's MkVII's were wiped out. BTW, Starbiuck Island is part of the US Pacific Territories.
As for carriers and airships. The Los Angeles tried landing on the Saratoga in the late 1920's, and the process was generally described as "terrifying". The roll of the ship would slam the airship's control car into the flight deck and did some damage before they declared success and quit. There were trials after Ww2 using Navy blimps and escort carriers that worked considerably better.

Or "Greenbean".

Well that depends entirely on which era one is working in doesn't it.
"Bo-Jay"?
