The RSM walked into the barracks to address the new recruits;
"Right then you miserable lot, your all assigned to the Carruthers Mk.9 heavy fast cruiser battle tank. You'll be getting lots of good grub here, beans for breakfast, beans for dinner and beans for tea. Understand? Then every half an hour we'll hook you up via the Anal Gas Suspension Adaptor Mk.2 to fill the suspension system air tanks in the tanks. Don't think its all gonna be getting lots of lovely grub, there's plenty of P.T. too, build up those skinny arms to you can lift the 100lb shells for the gun. We won't forget those legs either. Each tank has a stealth system whereby each man has a set of pedals and so the enemy can't hear us approaching. We should get 35mph with five of you goin' full pelt. Anyone who don't can see me! The Carruthers Mk.9 also has night vision equipment too, the stupidest bastard here who fouls up gets tied to the end of the gun and yells to the driver when he spots something.
Cheer up you miserable little lot. And get yer hair cut!"

Zodiak

This is my first try at a aircraft drawing in a format that is most common.

For those that remember Justryna Zefir Rascal and Wictor(can be found on page 5 of this tread) Those were aircrafts of midsized power around 1938.
This is first of a series of aircraft of a superpower circa 1942.

This is a plane that is the main fighter in one of my fantasy nations. Design as a turn and burn fighter with good low too mid level performance. Ease of maintenance and ability to operate from unpaved airstrips were high on the design priorities.
Powered by a 1650-1800hp radial engine with two speed supercharger.
Armed with 2x20mm in the fuselage.
Two under-wing hard points for drop tanks or 2 250kg bombs.

Next will be the second power main fighter.
In the coming week(s) I will post aircraft's and tanks from two fantasy nations.

Its is the other nation basic fighter.
Its optimized for speed and high altitude,an energy fighter.
Engine is a 1550hp inline.
It has twice the range of the Zodiak.
Armed with 2x12,7mm MG and 23mm Cannon.

As side note I was drawing this one by hand.

RE: Zodiak

Good drawing, I assume that this aircraft is based on the Lavochkin series of fighters. Will you give some background to these countries?

Black...........7%.....100mil....0,0700.1 100 000...11%

I'd create more but I only speak three Languages so I made 3 big players.

As for the planes.
Zodiak is based on Lavochkin. I used wings and engine assembly from a La-7 drawing. The rest is done by me.

Edited the pic.

Simpson looks now even more like the mustang.
I consider it funny as it's fuselage was inspired by Yak-9U while Do-335 give inspiration for wings and tail,(naturally without the pusher engine.)

Next will be a transport plane. I will post it when its done.
I posted the "Merlin" and "Nina/Angel" too fast and they did looked slightly of.
You all being too polite too say anything.

Now I ask for You input. You suggestions advice and criticism will help me making any future better.

Looks OK to me, the wings on the Nina are perhaps a bit broad

Seems like alot of window for a glider that may crash nose first into an object.

Looks pretty good to me. I'm reminded of the Martin-Baker MB.3 more than anything else. The wing is probably a bit too big and you might want to extend the tail section a bit to give a bit more balance.

Cheetah

Tail section extended wings and are now more narrow.
Plane got a name change as the last one did not give it justice.

Left wing has a additional pilot cockpit for difficult landings were restricted forward view from the main cockpit is not enough.

Right wing holds spare parts.

Thanks. Yes it is influenced or inspired by Italian tri-motor designs. There are too few three engine fantasy planes out there.

Three-engine planes, with the exception of the Dornier Do 24, are always hideously ugly.

The Do-24 is sweet, though. The exception that proves the rule. Everybody needs Do-24s.

I think you need to have your head examined. *runs away* :D

I like the Ju 52 better than the Do 24.
