Lithuanian Crisis

"Gentlemen! Your bickering is pointless to this discussion. You are neither listening, or making sense with your arguments. I recommend that you remain silent and allow the remainder of the league to finish casting and counting votes so that any action that is chosen can be implemented before any of your random scenarios can take effect."

USS Constitution

Wouldn't Constitution look just like Lexington and Saratoga? These were both finished in Wesworld as Battlecruisers (while Ranger and Constellation were converted to carriers) As for the pirate rant (I'll skip it mostly)...Matsumoto pirates are not like real pirates. They are more fun to play if you like honorable characters. These follow there own rules and own code. There are three of them though one (the predreadnought Arcadia) was lost to Indian, Danish, and Chilean forces. A new Arcadia is ...

my first atempt at tank sharp

Chile just buys other peoples tanks, or orders special types to deal with the climate (or altitude) of the region.

my first atempt at tank sharp

If I recall the theory on U.S. Marines, they don't buy anything unless its proven, is built like a brick, and leaks oil like sieve.

South America - March 1935

South Americans need a victory to justify themselves for a fall later on. Chile's victory in Bolivia was to make them over-confident, but the place they are in the world now doesn't lead them down that path yet since they are still repairing the damage from the last war.

Siamese Torpedo Boat

Well USS Long Island was 150 m long. However you don't use the whole deck to land. That is what the wires and hooks are for. HMS Archer was about 142 m long with late model CVEs going up to about 170 m in length.

Chilean needle-guns

Hmmm, changing from the 0.5" guns from the fifth spot to the fourth slot without remembering they were replacing 48mm guns...and thus metric setting verse imperial settings. Fixed.

Lithuanian News and Events - 3Q, 1935

There should be little reason for France or Atlantis to need to support Russia if it invades Poland. Also if I understand the FAR charter correctly, if Russia invades Poalnd, the other two members are actually obligated not to get involved (as it is a defensive treaty only...not an offensive treaty). As for the League getting involved directly. They have in Bolivia already, so the precident is already there. (I believe there are League sanctioned troops in Peruvian occupied Bolivia, and the Braz...

Siamese Torpedo Boat

Remember the term cruiser would inticate that the vessel can operate alone for an extened period of time. Generally with the job of scouting or trade protection. Also generally with superior speed to any enemy it intends to engage. (This is why the Chilean Oyama still functions as a cruiser as she can catch and kill about any cruiser in the world while still not being able to engage most capital ships) Of course the definition changes after each war, so we may be at a very different place then o...
