HMS Svärdet CGH

Both 40mm and 57mm are better AA guns than the 76mm melera system. The RAM is comparable to a 57mm gun in range and hit probability, but has a little larger warhead, the RAM wasnt operative until the mid 1990s

RAM? Don't belive in the system. A combination of SM2-ESSM -57mm-30mm is a very effective and flexible system, besides can the guns be used against lots of other types of targets, and is cheaper.

HMS Svärdet CGH

She serves many purposis: 1. ARG and Carrier excort 2. Missiletrap in the baltic 3. She should also be able to be sent as SAG centerpiece on "diplomacy" missions She was laid down 1984 Why triple 15cm gun: It looks cool and it is nice to be able to pu 60 shells/ min in the target. I've tried to incoporate as many Falklands lessons as possible.. Why 2 VLS: It makes her more flexible and in less need of large supply ships with missiles, it is also a preparation to fit VLS SLCM later so the RB08 SL...

Ok, Iwill work out the turrets somhow. I planning her follow on, a late 1980s ship. Can you simulate a CoDaG ship with just the diesels and then put in the weight for gasturbines as misc weight, a just calculate with SS the amount of power needed for the desired speed?

My swedish navy updated

thanks. correct link to Snapphanen Secondaries: I use the 57mm mount as a long range CWIS, similar to to outfit on HMS Halland. The 57mm M/50 has longer range than contemporary CWIS missles like the Seacat and is also affective against FIAC etc, all turrets has itsw own radar director (the "egg" radoms). the 40mm are mounted high and is almost exclusivly CWIS-mounts. I think there will be no problems for the wing turrets to turn, I tired to take extra care of that problem when I made the drawing...

That looks like the jack during the swedish-Norway union until 1905. Each nation had that in the upper inner corner of the flag, with either red or blue main colurs.

Some questions about Nordmark

A time ago I was asked if I wanted to join the sim. I have given it some thought and think it is more interesting to design after some limits rather than guessing. I have therefore some questions. Is some one playing Nordmark at the moment? If no on first guestion go on with the rest 1. How can I adopt my present fleet to your sim? 2. Borders, is it possible to adopt Nordmark to the more histroical Sweden when it was at its peak in 1658? So Nordmark becomes Sweden. 3. Where can I find the threat...
