Japan could send supplies and medical personnel to Argentina, though following the June 28 Fukui earthquake, supplies would be somewhat limited. Quoted As the earthquake was well inland, medical facilities aboard ships are probably of less utility at the moment The manly Atlanteans will get those ships there, even if they have to get out and push.

Bering Strait Incident - Out of Character Discussions

IC: Quoted It is Japan's opinion that the German Arbitrator ignored several key known facts when passing his judgement and disagrees with his opinion that the Zhuhai's move was "a deliberate assertion of its rights to freedom of navigation". The Zhuhai's move north was a clear move to annoy the Russians, threaten their sovereignty and espionage. Now the mission of the Zhuhai was to explore the Artic Sea and investigate whether a northern route to Europe is even possible. Now under normal circums...

Bering Strait Incident - Out of Character Discussions

Currenly working on an IC reply which is taking a bit longer... Quoted I have no idea what the Chinese expected to discover beyond the Bering Strait One cannot discover anything which one cannot reach and that is the major point where the German Arbiter fails because that is actually an important aspect to consider.

Earthquake deaths are to be expected with big earthquakes and can happen in many regions of the world. Looking at wiki, a bigger one may probably occur later in the year (though that depends on the player controlling the nation in question). Motorsports is a dangerous sport and deaths are to be expected (and it will only get worse). As indicated in the past, we are in the 1946-1949 period where 1 driver was killed every 70 days. Looking at wiki, 9 people were killed in motorsports OTL in 1948. J...

Japan News 1948

April 5, 1948 As part of their shakedown cruise, submarines I-402 and I-403 launched a total of a dozen MXY7B guided rockets at targets on the Okino Kita Iwa Firing Range with decent results. As expected, targets beyond visual range pose a problem making the MXY7B pretty much a fire-and-forget weapon for such targets. April 20, 1948 Today, more MXY7B guided rockets were launched by submarines I-402 and I-403 at targets on the Okino Kita Iwa Firing Range. April 30, 1948 Another big step in anti s...

Talons 1948?

The original format worked out just fine I think. Using those three classes makes sense. Maybe some mini prizes for each individual event. I'd love to see it return to Wesworld, though it is unlikely that the Japanese will participate. The Travesty of '34 was the main reason Japan stopped going. The public wasn't really impressed by the fact that the Japanese Military decided to continue to go to the events after 1934. Numerous politicians weren't too happy either and eventually the funding for ...

Hopefully no errors... Note that the Nisshin Maru conversion cost is based off 6370 tons instead of 6480 since the Umi II is a new vessel and therefore the full 110 tons is paid for that one.
