Feldhaubitze FH155-1 Medium Field Howitzer

Any particular reason the germans are using a 155mm howitzer instead of their typical 150mm? Because replacing all that 150mm ammunition is gonna take a lot of time.

Experimenting with Springsharp

Quoted from "M_Fredi" Nah, ¿porque no jugar un poco y hacer cosas alocadas? Es uno de los pequeños placeres de la vida. (Nah, why not play around and do crazy things? It is one of the small pleasures of life.) Sip, hacer cosas locas de vez en cuando es divertido. Yeah, sometimes doing crazy stuff is fun

Experimenting with Springsharp

(I am not an expert in ships and my knowledge of history stops in the second war, but I think the term leviathan fits more than light cruiser. : D I feel so...

New Peruvian Ship Concept

Quoted from "BruceDuncan" This is precisely the sort of ship I had in mind. Do you have any information on the size of these craft? I haven't the facilities to build something too large on the upper Amazon, and I don't know if such a vessel would be useful operating on Peru's Pacific Coast. Do you think a sea-going vessel would be useful? SIMA says the PIAS characteristics are: Length: 44 meters Beam: 7 Meters Draught: 1.2 meters Displacement: 226 Tons Propulsion: 2x 250 BHP engines Speed: 10 K...

RE: New Peruvian Ship Concept

Quoted from "BruceDuncan" I’ve been kicking around possible ideas for future Peruvian naval construction – not so much in warships as in ships that can contribute to regional development in a meaningful way. The Armada has transports – and I am building a new class of those already. I’m imagining a multi-purpose sort of vessel, but can’t come up with parameters and specific roles. Anyone have suggestions? In real life we are currently building the PIAS (Plataforma Itinerante de Acción Social), ...

Nice replacement for the older Riverine Gunboats although smaller Also a small question, is the 120mm a new design or the old howitzers used by the army?

German Small Arms Trials

For a moment I thought these were assault rifles until I saw the ammo and then went derp. To say the truth my favourite is the Mauser-Werke Maschinenkarabiner 06 (man that is a mouthfull) if only because it is lighter and it has a pistol grip ... also because I like the AKM.

Experimenting with Springsharp

Quoted from "Rooijen10" I agree with the points brought up by the others. I would add a few more secondary turrets on the Battlecruiser. Two twins on each side isn't much. I would probably increase speed and armor a bit with the hullstrength left after raising two main gun turrets and trying to keep seakeeping above 1. Thanks for the help. Quoted I think I might have mentioned it quite a while ago here, but IIRC in my book on the Scharnhorst class it was mentioned that the TBH had to be angled ...

Experimenting with Springsharp

Quoted from "eltf177" Very good for your first time. Just a few things: 1) The battleship needs half of the Main Battery superfiring, much of the Light AA Battery also need to be raised. 2) Seakeeping on the battleship is poor, might want to try and fix that. 3) Personally I would give the battleship some miscellaneous weight You managed to get a TDS on the light cruiser but kept full belt protection, that isn't easy! Ok thanks, also what is TDS?
