Does Wesworld reboot in 1950?
Quoted Originally posted by Marek Gutkowski Best wishes from former player current lunker. I second that! This is a great sim, and it's great to see it still around.
Right, so I have to leave for Cortázar to pull a miracle out of that A2N http://www.buffiesbest.com/images/models…Type%2090-2.JPG Nice report!
Hey folks, I've been idle lately due to some personal problems and a lot of other things (like finals) going on in my life right now. I'm sorry to say this but I don't think I have enough time or interest to keep up with Wesworld any more. :/ I can't say I won't come back, and I'll probably pop up every once in a while, but I'm just going to have to hand off las Filipinas for now. Anyways, thanks for the fun, guys.
The Philippines will attend, but expect a very cavalier attitude from whatever minor dignitary the President sends off on this fool's errand. Woe be upon him. ;P
When will we get to see the new rebuilds?
There are major fortifications on Mindanao (near Davao) and several smaller fortresses situated in the plains north of Manila, where much of the Army's R&D, training, and development infrastructure is located.
Quoted Originally posted by Hrolf Hakonson If the PAF started using He-112s for it's land-based fighters, and then added He-112Ts for its carrier(s), then you could benefit from commonality in training, spare parts, manufacturing, etc. Just a thought..... A good thought.. the FAF and the Navy are seperate services though, and the FAF just got a new fighter from Nakajima a couple of years ago.. although things have moved rather quickly in those two years. Probably the Navy will get the fighter f...
Quoted Originally posted by Hrolf Hakonson Well, Heinkel IS working on a carrier-launched version of the He-112, and Heinkel DOES have a factory in the Phillipines.... Well.. I think I might start a production line when development is done.
Quoted Originally posted by RLBH That's a thought, we haven't seen much of the penguin harvesting operations for a while. Did they fight back? Will we be seeing the Antarctic Battleship to subdue the penguins? I'll go take my medication now... "And nothing was heard from the Antarctic Battleship ever again." Scientific stuff was kind of called off after the plague broke out (the scientists and doctors aboard Pacifica were suddenly needed). But perhaps a revival is in order. The Philippines, in ...
Philippines submits the same two pilots and aircraft.. although we really need to get something better than a biplane for our carrier pilots..
Quoted Originally posted by Kaiser Kirk there's an error in the range, it says 10,000 and it should have no more than 10. ... or at least the Dutch think so : ) You might want to add a smidge to the stem to eliminate the "wet forward". Also 200 shells may be a little low depending on the exact environment you expect. Other than that, looks good Edit : Should I point out that at 6x115mm & 32knts, she's not unlimited, and she's too big for Destroyer A. So if you stay in the treaty, she's a light ...
A high speed transport/minelayer. Speedy but with range, should be useful in Guadalcanal-esque situations. Credit goes to Rocky for the design and the drawing - this is something he had worked on but dropped in favor of a smaller APD. I modified the drawing and the SS to Filipino standards. The torpedoes are just there to illustrate the deck space occupied by the landing craft and minehandling gear/cargo area. There are no actual torpedoes involved. I should be able to haul around 300 troops for...
Quoted Originally posted by Swamphen Brazil? Hmm...unless Fyrwulf ordered 'em, no (unfortunatly). Sorry, it was Peru - perdedor ordered 65.
Is that a 75mm gun on the AB36?
What's the Heinkel-118 look like, perform like? I have a Heinkel factory and a need for close support ac... Never mind, I just did a google search. Pretty! Any differences from the RL version? PS - Yes, the Skoda-Davao tank (I'm calling it the LT-33) would work quite well in Europe. Right now the Czechs, Dutch, Belgians, Filipinos and Brazilians (if I remember correctly) are using it.
Welcome back, sir. You've come back at an interesting time.. with the treaty collapsing around our heads and the Brits transforming into the Hulk.. :o
Bickering Belgians! When will they grow up and realize they should just let the Dutch manage things?
I'm still pretty far behind, but Spring Break began today. Will hopefully have plenty of time once I get over my hangover tomorrow.
