In answers to numerous questions regarding the new treaty with Great Britain, the King has taken the step of issuing the following statement.

Quoted

"This treaty with Great Britain is designed to ensure peace in Europe, it does not bind any signing power to defend any other signatory outside of Europe, and is greatly beneficial in ensuring that the peace Europe has in general experienced without incident for the last 15years, lasts on.
This Peace must last if we wish for our children, and indeed for our Grandchildren to never have to experience the horrors of the Great War."

The Airforce has announced that it expects to take delivery of the first pre-production aircraft of the new mark of B-17 Heavy Bomber.
This new mark has been developed jointly between Kongsberg Defence and Boeing in response to the shockingly poor performance of the B-17 volunteer Squadron, where all but 1 aircraft was lost.
The effective re-design of the aircraft has seen both its defensive armament increased, and additional armour applied.

Today at Poling stations across the Kingdom, people are placing thier votes in the Riksdag elections. It seems that the Socialdemokraterna are going to retain control of the Riksdag despite the fact there have been strong showings for the Moderaterna in the latest opinion Poles.
Before today, the parties were as follows

Socialdemokraterna 350 seats
Moderaterna 250 seats
Centerpartiet 75 seats
Folkpartiet liberalerna 69 seats
Kristdemokraterna 17 seats
Vänsterpartiet 5 seats

Total number of seats 766.

In a shocking development in the Riksdag Elections, the Moderanterna Party has taken control of the parliament, with the Socialdemokraterna being forced into opposition, and the Prime Minister loosing his seat.
