Canis is back!!

Great drawing and a mean ship. I think its a fine ship, considering what you'd have to pay to build such a new ship today. Its got firepower and speed, armour isn't great but it should survive most of the Super CA threats and will be effective enough against an attacker. As an escort Lex can use her 16in guns to advantage with range (allied to radar control) to batter the enemy before they get close enough to do serious damage. It should deter most fast BBs from engaging as they would suffer damage and being far from port they might be cautious not to get crippled.

Canis, Argentina is a recent war sank the carrier RSAN Hammer on the surface with a BC. Since then most navies around here have seen the threat and invested heavily in large cruisers, like RLBH's recent design, but the Lex refit is the best escort. Had Hammer been escorted by a 16in gunned battlecruiser they wouldn't have engaged at all. That might be enough to ensure the Carriers get clear out of danger.

Using 1.1" and 0.5" for now. Would prefer the 40mm and 20mm from OTL and that's what's in the drawing.
