I have royally screwed up some of my destroyer design. I was going back and reviewing them and several violate the cross-sectional strength minimum, and have absurdly low numbers of shells per gun. I would like to correct the designs. All were built before the sim started, so it would not impact any reports or anything like that. The overall impact on my destroyer tonnage would be limited.
O'Brien No change to standard tonnage
Tucker No change to standard tonnage
Sampson No change to standard tonnage
Caldwell from 1,022 to 1,125 standard tonnage (+618 tons)
Wickes from 968 to 1,153 standard tonnage (+9250 tons)
Oh oh, now I've done it, Hoos all twiterpated at the though of Dita.
Canis, I recently responded to the post in Wolfs shipyard forums that deverted to discussion on the Battlestar Valkyrie. I'm wondering if you have a template for those drawings!
Just posted some screenshots of her there, Wes. I'll try and post my templates there later today. They are mainly just parts from Galactica, Pegasus, and Indra. Not sure how much they would help with Valkyrie since she seems to be quite a different animal all together.
I know, but somehow my brain registered something else. ^_^;;
which brings us to...

I wouldn't really call it limited. Looking at the total destroyer tonnage the US is allowed to have (A+B => 200,000 tons) that additional 9,868 tons is 4.9% of the total DD tonnage. Of the B type tonnage only (160,000 tons), it's 6.1%. I wouldn't really call that 'limited'.
I think you mean Star Destroyers, right? After all it is a destroyer thread.

Well, considering how much I still have available, its relatively limited
Know that of the tonnage you now have, those 9868 tons is about 11% or so. I think that I calculated it at almost 80,000 tons, not including the ships that have been laid down in 1933.
IIRC the Colonial fleet had 12? Tiger class Destroyers, basically mini battlestars, without the flight pods, just a small hangar in the lower hull, according to the BSG tech site.
