After many months involving anti-piracy operations with the Filipino and Chinese Governments, as well as assistance in quarantining the El Dettirer outbreak, their voyage home was reportedly delayed by a "Freedom of Navigation" excersize off the Japanese coast, which was not interfered with. The exact reason for this excersize has not been disclosed.

In a suprise announcement today, Prime Minister's office announced that Canada has been released from it's Cleito Treaty obligations. Official details are scarce, but sources within the government have revealed that due to a beaurcratic oversight at the Cleito and Copenhavn conferences, Canada's signatory at those conferences were not legally capable of conducting business in the name of the Canadian Government. The Dominion of Canada reportedly attempted to correct this oversight, but stonewalling from certain governments prevented an amicable resolution to the issue.

Theres very little of value on Vinland worth bombing. Best off setting up some interceptors and AA defenses around Halifax and Montreal.

But what's so great about this experiment of yours?

That depends on how many Scotsmen are involved.

...I might have to buy the E's off RLBH in a few years to get a 'friendly' rivalry going.

Except Nordish airfeilds, naval bases ect.

Halifax is your best bet for reciprocal deployments in the region unless you plan on setting up float plane bases which will be limited by the winter ice buildups in the region.
