I didn't say that, did I? The reports look very sane to me, compared to some of the stuff appearing in this thread. Yes I am insane, but I thought I topped the insanity list. Apparently that is not true.

Well, at least mine looks like an atmospheric fighter that could be built with todays...or nearly todays technology. I think the present day engine type would be the engine that they were testing for the Venture Star. The really wide one with the movable internal parts to change direction while in low earth orbit. I think that was called a scramjet, but its been a few years since I looked that up.
Well the traditional method would be to steam side by side, salute, them split off to the edge of short range and then come around and charge each other, passing close on one side or the other and exchanging broadsides at point blank range only...no closing bow on or stern on fire.
