4 or 8 ex-Indian destroyers? The encyclopedia entry's listing 4, but here you're saying 8.

Eight total. We are separating them in "different" classes to try to fool our neighbors. Of course we don't fool anyone. Real reason is I ran out of names that started with T after the fourth ship. :D

At first I went "huh?" but then when I thought about it it makes sense; with the ex-SAE battleships being purchased, the crew has to come from somewhere, and Lima's complement could provide a "nucleus" for each, while at the same time you're adding some badly-needed 'cans.

Just curious, what did India plan to do with Lima? Transfer her to the Hedjaz? 8)

I wonder what India wants with a pair of old cruisers and a Coastal Defence battleship, with nonstandard armament. Now If Rocky was still here I could try to convince him to sell Lima to Mexico, how's that for irony? :P

I think the original plan was to base the Lima in the Asir mandate but he later told me he had other ideas for the ship.

Ironic that I'm collecting transaction info for an email to Hoo and Wes, and here you guys are talking about one of them.

This trade had indeed been agreed to. India's sending the two old Peruvian cruisers to the breakers for scrap value. The Lima has been offered to another nation, and I'm sure that player will post about it when the time comes for him to spend the cash.
