The Aquila Class is coming to the end of their lives in the Regia Marina. As such they are offered onto the international market for purchase.

There are four ships, all at 95% and in need of a refit. They are small, reasonably fast and well-armed for their size. Price is 30% of their light displacement as stipulated by Cleito.

The picture seems to be missing 2 of the 6" guns.

Yes, something like this could be useful for Persia, and the price would be within your reach as well.

I´m not sure if such an old and small hull is good for anything in the 30s but if it´s all you can affort, why not....

I was looking in Jane's for that ship. Armament is given as 3x 6 inch for Aquila, Nibbio and Sparviero while the Falco had 6x 4.7 inch guns...

Jane's Frightening Slips?

Apparrently, HMS Lion (WWI BC) could go 32knts and Bismarck had 150,000hp on 2 shafts.

I'll trust the official Regia Marina site.

What is given in Jane's Frightening Slips expains the picture...
... so if the Regia Marina site is correct then that picture must have come out of Jane's.
