Petropavlovsk Post, 4 September 1935

Floating Crane Trud, a common sight in the Far East for years, arrived today with a cargo of large, semicircular steel plates. This delivery may be associated with unusual mining activity here since Spring.

Now we'll have an 80's comedy based on a little brown alien becoming part of a small town Russian family. "Alfsky" debuts in 1984, a cartoon spin off in 1985 and lots of merchandise.

Mining activity has resumed, indicated by resumption of explosions in mountans east of Petropavlovsk. Naval base staff has assured local population that no danger to them exists, and that purpose is to facilitate naval base operations.
