Ok, I currently have all my ships in one thread and find it more than mildly confusing.

ideally (if we can nest that deep)

Encyclopedia
-- country
---- capital ships
---- cuisers
---- etc
------ 1 thread per class
------ refits and rebuild etc as replies.

My personal preference would be:

Encyclopedia
-- country
------ 1 thread per type of ship
------ one post per class
------ refits, rebuilts etc. as edits

But I'll go along with the majority vote. ;)

Folks: Order your encyclopedae as you see fit - as long as it's internally consistent. I'm going to use introductory notes where necessary to lead off threads.

For those of you who're tempted, don't bother delving into the Indian encyclopedia. I'm just creating threads, not actually filling them with content.
