Looks alot like the Ta-152 at a quick glance.

Don't forget Peru is an allie of Iberia (albeit one sitting on the sidelines in the current conflict due to their displeasure towards diaz) so you may have some Iberian or even other AEGIS aircraft available to you post war.

If Peru is interested, Romania is beginning development of the IAR. 81 in 1937, with production starting in 1939. The IAR 80A begins production mid-37, with the improved 80B beginning in 1938.

Heh, probably not FN Brownings in 7.62, Peru uses the 7.65mm Argentine Mauser round for it's Army rifles and MGs, and I'm not certain what they've standardized on for rifle-caliber weapons on aircraft. The German-made planes haven't been ordered with something other than the MG-15/-17/-81s they'd use in Luftwaffe service, anyway. So, perhaps 7.92mm MG-15s?

If it's an IAR 81 derivitive, shouldn't the cockpit be further aft?

I do quite like the look of the IAR.80, but the cockpit aft doesn't seem great for visibility. I think you might want a heavier armament than the 7.62mm machine guns. The uprated Brownings made by FN are pretty good; 1000rpm and in 13.2mm calibre with HE rounds.

Updates the weapons. I'm sorry of the 7.62 I really didn't know that, not yet. :D

Argentina makes the 13.2mm Browning under licence but whether it would sell to Peru is a different political matter.

Britain could offer the Boulton Paul P.94 fighter (see Brock's thread for picture and stats) which would be a perfect choice for Peru retaining many parts and assemblies for easy maintainence and also giving Peru experience of modern V-12 engines and decent armament.

Also Britain could provide surplus Merlin-engined Hurricanes to Peru very cheaply.
