And that's the sad thing. I can go superheavy and you can go superheavy, and your guns will still win. Don't worry, though, I'm only interested in the independant nations who are helpless against Brazil's might. You can keep what you have. For the time being... ;)

Superheavy shells aren't all they're cracked up to be. They suffer from severe limitations.

Heh. Hood, Invincible, and Inflexible might be based there, but Tiger's part of the Australian Navy, so I doubt it's based in Guiana......

Now, back to the actual ship: this is the first capital hip that Nordmark has built that forgoes the standard secondary battery, choosing instead to go the full dual-purpose route. A battery of 24 tubes, to be exact, which in numbers at least is heavier than anything that put to sea by 1945. I'm not sure that this is a wise manuever, given that a 110mm shell is likely not a single-hit destroyer stopper. It's certainly going to scare most aircraft, though.

Quite long ranged, but I'm surprised that the re-engining did not increase her speed.

she always had a 4.3inch secondary battery, the reason for such a large DP battery is that Nordmark intends to be able to have her capital ships able to defend against air & surface attack, (I mean the baltic ain't exactly safe unless you've got a lot of AA capability. To increase her speed the bow would of required extensive re-modeling, 27knots is still a fair speed though, and her large range allows her to cruise over large distances without the need for refueling.
