Belgium

Well, at long last I can start building Belgium's little fleet.
In the process I noted that every vessel they own is far past refit time, falling nicely into the timeframe I had them sliding into recession/depression/recession. Makes a nice, if accidental, reason to build new :)

The transfers to Mexico/Australia/SAE, as previously discussed, are included under 'D'.

Kingdom of Belgium
1.5/4.5 factories producing naval materials: 500 tons created for Q4/35 . 1,500 total tons + 371 stockpiled from previous quarter + 0 tons from scrapping = 1,876 tons

1,876 tons used. 000 tons left for Q1/36

3/4.5 factories committed for 1935 to infrastructure development = 0.3 ip + 0.3ip bonus

It took me a considerable amount of sorting through old PMs to figure it out myself. Never dreamed it would be so long before I would actually start building them.

This is the first such fee, right, or have I missed something? I´ll then add it to my Q1/36 report.

Btw, with Belgium now under control of a player I´ve added a section in our ebcyclopedia for you. Please move your stuff there and let me know, I´ll then delete the old NPC post.

Yep first fee. As they lay down more in 1936 there will be others, I'll PM you as I recall.

I will get the Belgian stuff moved later. I have work in 6:53 hours... need to do that sleep thing.. argh.

Heh, looks like a Tone class cruiser w/ less firepower.

And looking at the sim report, don't you have 4x2 37mm (from the pic) not 3x4 37mm (from report)?

I don't suppose Belgium would be interested in building the slightly more compact Struma-class minesweepers that Bulgaria designed, would they? ;)

1. Yes everything moved. Thanks Hooman.

2. Well, we never finalized things with Atlantis regarding their minesweeper, so we are certainly willing to take a look (plus you weren't around back when I posted the "Belgian Naval Bids" thread, which was all-parties)

ooc- I'll go look at your encyclopedia and compare :)

I really like the Atlantean minesweepers, but since they're under 500 tons they can get into service faster. (Which was admittedly my greater requirement when I made them...)

Hey stop stealing my contracts, and using the same contracts drawings!

I changed it significantly! :P That's half the reason I'm buying so much Atlantean stuff - the drawings do so much for it.

Still doesn't make me feel any better, having to bid on the contract, again, AND having my bids drawing used for the representation.

That said if I lose the contract it just means I have the slips to build more formy own navy:P

It was the drawing I made for my own boats, sorry. As I said, I changed it fairly significantly and posted it for my own minesweepers a month or so ago. If you like, I can try to draw it out again differentish. (In any case, KK already PMed me that Belgium's preferred suppliers are French allies, and I'm not; and Struma has a transom stern, which I didn't know at the time was a no-no for minesweepers.)
