Atlantis Found?

Atlantis has been found, according to the Sun newspaper...

An aviation engineer looking at Google's new underwater mapping programme noticed a large area the size of Wales which contains a large grid pattern of streets some 200 miles off the North African coast not far from the Canaries. Right where we all knew it was all along! ;)

They could have saved themselves much time by coming to WW, Wes could have put them right as to where Atlantis is! :D

So, how long before they realise that it's just a natural basalt formation, as a result of being in a seismically active zone?

It'll be Grand Zimbabwe all over again!!

Ironically thats the reason one author made the assumtion that the location of Atlantis was there. There were very old reports of the striaghts of Gibralter being impassable for a time due to a think muddy soup obstructing ships from sailing through, apparently the result of a large Krakatoa sized volcanic event literally disintegrating an island ala Santorini.

Hey Atlantis seems to have a little problem with flooding. The Dutch are willing to send some of their experts for a reasonable fee (well reasonable considering you don't breath water).
